I was honored to accomplish the design and production of Steve Schneider’s new book, “The First Three Songs”. I was of course already familiar with a number of Steve's classic images such as Jerry looking straight at you from Santa Barbara ’78 and New Years at Winterland, and many others. But I was amazed at the breadth of his work, from early ‘70s Neil Young to grunge heroes, Nirvana, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam to David Bowie and the Rolling Stones.
